Attorney Masoud Jahani is registered with the State Bar of California, and Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. Mr. Jahani is also a member of Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), Iranian American Bar Association (IABA), Canadian Maritime Lawyers Association (CMLA), and The United States Maritime Lawyers Association (MLAUS).

Mr. Jahani is a graduate of Juris Doctor from California School of Law, U.S.A. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of London, England. Mr. Jahani started his career in Merchant Navy and obtained a Business Technology, Higher National Diploma in Nautical Science. He later progressed through the education and the ranks and obtained his certificate of competency as Master Marine from England, and later from Canada.


Captain Jahani worked as an officer on deep sea merchant vessels from third to chief officer, and he sailed as Captain of ocean going tankers for about 10 years, in addition to key shore jobs in the head office and the Europe branch office of one of the major shipping companies in the world.

Mr. Jahani joined Transport Canada Marine Safety and Security in 2004 as a Senior Marine Inspector and has since obtained extensive experience in ship inspections of International Ocean-going vessels including Cruise ships, Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Small and large fishing and commercial vessels, and examination of Masters and Mates. He also took part in major U.S and Canada pollution exercises, and investigated major pollution and grounding of vessels.

Masoud Jahani, Esq. is a solo attorney at his own law practice. His clients receive one-on-one attention from an attorney who understands what is at stake.
